IN 2021, BCP GREW ITS OPERATIONAL TEMPO DESPITE PANDEMIC-RELATED SETBACKS. WE COMMUNICATED WITH ~12,000 POLICYMAKERS ABOUT TOPICS IMPORTANT TO CREATING AND SUSTAINING VIBRANT LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. SIGNIFICANT PROJECTS INCLUDED A CASE STUDY OF ZONING REFORMS IN NEW ROCHELLE, NY; A SERIES OF VIDEOS ON MUNICIPAL POLICY TOPICS DEVELOPED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DOLE INSTITUTE IN KANSAS; AND MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECTS LOOKING AT THE IMPACT OF GIG WORK AND LOCAL BUSINESS REGULATIONS ON LOCAL ECONOMIES.
