ONE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A PLATFORM TO HIGHLIGHT THE TALENTS AND SKILLS OF THE INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. DREAM SHOW 2022 WAS ONE SUCH EVENT WHEREIN ABOUT 64 INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS PERFORMED ON STAGE, SOME ON THEIR OWN, SOME WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND SOME WITH VOLUNTEERS. THE EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY 500+ AUDIENCE MEMBERS AND ALL THE PROGRAMS WERE WELL RECEIVED. THE EVENT ALSO SHOWCASED ARTS AND CRAFTS MADE BY SOME OF THESE INDIVIDUALS.
OTHER PROGRAMS AND SERVICES INCLUDING AUTISM AWARENESS, VOLUNTEER AND CAREGIVER APPRECIATION EVENTS
THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED AN ADAPTIVE SUMMER CAMP FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER BREAK FOR 12-15 PARTICIPANTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS PER WEEK, TO KEEP THEM PRODUCTIVELY OCCUPIED DURING SCHOOL BREAK. THE EVENTS INCLUDED ADAPTIVE FITNESS AND SPORTS, GAMES FOR SOCIALIZATION, VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING, MUSIC THERAPY, ADAPTIVE STEM SESSIONS AND ARTS AND CRAFTS. THE EVENT WAS SUPPORTED BY A GOOD TEAM OF ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS.
THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO OFFER VARIOUS ADAPTIVE SESSIONS THROUGH THE YEAR FOR THE INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS TO EXPLORE AND ENJOY. IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED ADAPTIVE SESSIONS LIKE SPORTS ( PING PONG, CRICKET),MUSIC THERAPY SESSIONS, ADAPTIVE FITNESS SESSIONS, ADAPTIVE ARTS AND CRAFTS TO INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. EACH ACTIVITY WAS HELD FOR A SET OF 5-8 SESSIONS AND CATERED TO 6-15 PARTICIPANTS BASED ON THE ACTIVITY AND THE SUPPORT AVAILABLE.
