AT EQUIS LABS, WE ARE CREATING A HOME FOR IDEAS, INNOVATION, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THAT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MASSIVELY INCREASE LATINO ELECTORAL ENGAGEMENT AND BUILD LONG-TERM POLITICAL POWER.

DISINFORMATION PROGRAM THE GOAL OF THE DISINFORMATION PROGRAM IS TO COUNTER DISINFORMATION IN THE MEDIA TARGETING LATINO VOTERS, PARTICULARLY THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND OTHER ONLINE PLATFORMS. DURING THE YEAR, EQUIS LABS EXPANDED ITS MONITORING PROGRAM BY FURTHER RESEARCH IN SPANISH, DRAFTING LANDSCAPE ANALYSES OF UNDERREPORTED SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, AND EXPANDED VIDEO MONITORING.


RESEARCH/ANALYSISTHE PROGRAM ACHIEVED A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE 2020 ELECTION RESULTS AS IT RELATES TO THE LATINO ELECTORATE'S TURNOUT. IT ALSO HELPED PAINT A BETTER PICTURE OF ISSUES AND TOPICS THAT WERE IMPORTANT TO LATINO VOTERS.


PUBLICATION OF FINDINGS ON LATINO ELECTORATEEQUISLABS PUBLISHED ITS FINDINGS ON PUBLIC SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS AND SHARED DIRECTLY WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP EDUCATION THE GENERAL POPULATION ON LATINO BEHAVIORAL TRENDS AS IT COMPARES TO PREVIOUS YEARS. THE GOAL IN DISSEMINATING SUCH INFORMATION IS TO BETTER ELEVATE EQUISLABS' MISSION OF CREATING A HOME FOR IDEAS, LEARNINGS, AND LEADERS THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO MASSIVELY INCREASE LATINX CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND BUILD POWER WHICH WE BELIEVE WAS ACCOMPLISHED VIA THIS PROGRAM
