VILLA COMUNITARIA IS A SEATTLE-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED IN 2019, HIS MISSION OF CULTIVATING LEADERS TO CREATE A STRONGER COMMUNITY, SUPPORT THE VISION OF SEEING A COMMUNITY WHERE ALL FAMILIES THRIVE AND PARTICIPATE. VILLA COMUNITARIA'S DIVERSE PROGRAMS SUPPORT LATINE IMMIGRANT FAMILIES, IN SEATTLE AND SOUTH KING COUNTY, TO NAVIGATE THE COMPLEXITIES OF THE UNITED STATES IMMIGRATION, HOUSING, HEALTH AND EDUCATION. A HOLISTIC APPROACH BRINGS PROGRAMS FOR ECONOMIC AND FINANCES EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH EDUCATION AND PREVENTION AND SUPPORT WITH CITIZENSHIP PATHWAY. SYSTEMS NAVIGATION AND HUMAN SERVICES: VILLA COMMUNITARIA PROMOTES RESILIENCE IN RESIDENTS BY CONNECTING THEM TO PROGRAMS, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES. STAFF ARE TRAINED IN OFFERING SERVICES CONNECTED TO HOUSING, TENANTS RIGHT, UTILITY DISCOUNT PROGRAMS AND OTHERS. THE PROGRAM OFFERS EDUCATION THROUGH CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS.
HEALTHY COMMUNITY: PROMOTES HEALTHY PREVENTION OPTIONS WITH EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES. THE HEART PREVENTION PROGRAM HELP FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE BETTER CHOICES IN NUTRITION, EXERCISE AND MENTAL HEALTH. A GROUP OF COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS MAKE OUTREACH, EDUCATION AND ENGAGE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY TO ACCESS INFORMATION AND RESOURCES.
