VILLA COMUNITARIA IS A SEATTLE-BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED IN 2019, HIS MISSION OF CULTIVATING LEADERS TO CREATE A STRONGER COMMUNITY, SUPPORT THE VISION OF SEEING A COMMUNITY WHERE ALL FAMILIES THRIVE AND PARTICIPATE. VILLA COMUNITARIA'S DIVERSE PROGRAMS SUPPORT LATINE IMMIGRANT FAMILIES, IN SEATTLE AND SOUTH KING COUNTY, TO NAVIGATE THE COMPLEXITIES OF THE UNITED STATES IMMIGRATION, HOUSING, HEALTH AND EDUCATION. A HOLISTIC APPROACH BRINGS PROGRAMS FOR ECONOMIC AND FINANCES EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, HEALTH EDUCATION AND PREVENTION AND SUPPORT WITH CITIZENSHIP PATHWAY. WE ALSO INVEST RESOURCES TO OUTREACH THE MOST ISOLATED AND VULNERABLE FAMILIES IN THE REGION.

SYSTEMS NAVIGATION AND HUMAN SERVICES: VILLA COMMUNITARIA PROMOTES RESILIENCE IN RESIDENTS BY CONNECTING THEM TO PROGRAMS, INFORMATION AND RESOURCES. STAFF ARE TRAINED ON TENANT RIGHTS, WAGE THEFT AND OTHER RESOURCES IN THE CITY OF SEATTLE AND WILL COORDINATE AND HOLD A MONTHLY WALK-IN CLINIC IN THE COMMUNITY IN 2021.


HEALTHY COMMUNITY: VILLA COMMUNITARIA SUPPORTS TRAINED FACILITATORS TO MEET, PLAN AND DELIVER CPR TRANINGS. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A PREVENTION PROGRAM THAT HELP FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE BETTER CHOICES IN THEIR LIVES AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF THE HEART.


CITIZENSHIP, VOTER EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS ON THE PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP AND TO EDUCATE NEW CITIZENS TO KNOW ABOUT THE AMERICAN VOTING SYSTEM.


OTHER PROGRAMS INLCUDE : COALTION, DIGITAL EQUITY AND ACTION PLAN, FRESH BUCKS, HOUSING FOR ALL, PROMOTORAS DE CORAZON, SALSA DE LA VIDA, WAGE THEFT.
