WE SUPPORT THE EDUCATION, HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF TEXANS THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS, FINANCIAL LITERACY, AND OTHER CHARITABLE PROGRAMS THAT ROMOTE PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE.

THE FOUNDATION AWARDED THREE $5,000 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2023 PLUS FUNDED PREVIOUSLY AWARDED COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $3,750. THE FOUNDATION INCURRED $1,400 IN SCHOLARSHIP SOFTWARE COSTS TO PROVIDE ONLINE ACCESS TO ITS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE FINLEY FAMILY FOR THE SEPARATION OF THEIR CONJOINED TWINS AT COOK CHILDREN'S.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED CHARITABLE DONATIONS TOTALING $2,000 TO THE FORT WORTH RETIRED SCHOOL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO SUPPORT THEIR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.


THE FOUNDATION HELD ITS SECOND CHARITABLE GOLF TOURNAMENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR COOK CHILDREN'S NEIGHBORHOOD CLINICS. PROCEEDS OF $50,000 FROM THE TOURNAMENT WERE REMITTED TO COOK CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION. REMAINING PROCEEDS WILL BE USED TO ENHANCE THE FOUNDATION'S COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR LOCAL CHARITIES. IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TOURNAMENT, THE FOUNDATION HELD A SILENT AUCTION.
