COOPERATIVE EDUCATION L.A. CO-OP LAB PROVIDES TRAINING TO TEACH PEOPLE AND TEAMS THE SKILLS THEY NEED TO SUCCESSFULLY OPERATE AND OWN A COOPERATIVE BUSINESS. OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE BILINGUAL AND INCLUDE IN PERSON WORKSHOPS AND COHORTS, ONLINE COURSES AND PRINT CURRICULUM MATERIALS AVAILABLE TO ALL.
COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT L.A. CO-OP LAB PROVIDES INCUBATION SUPPORT, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND IN-DEPTH COACHING TO THOSE INTERESTED IN STARTING OR BECOMING A WORKER-OWNED COOPERATIVE. WE ALSO FACILITATE FAIR ACCESS TO CAPITAL VIA OUR MEMBERSHIP IN SEED COMMONS, A FINANCIAL COOPERATIVE.
ECOSYSTEM BUILDING L.A. CO-OP LAB WORKS TO BUILD A NETWORK OF SUPPORT FOR EMERGING AND EXISTING WORKER-OWNED COOPERATIVES ACROSS LOS ANGELES. WE HOST REGULAR NETWORKING AND COMMUNITY EVENTS AND BUILD PARTNERSHIPS WITH ORGANIZATIONS, ALLIES, AND TECHNICAL SERVICE PROVIDERS TO FACILITATE MUTUAL LEARNING AND GROWTH FOR COOPERATIVES COUNTY-WIDE.
