THE DEAF SCHOOL/CHURCH IN LES CAYES PROVIDES EDUCATION AND SUPPORT FOR APPROXIMATELY 40 DEAF CHILDREN PLUS ABOUT A DOZEN DEAF TEACHERS/STAFF. DEAF CHILDREN IN THIS REMOTE AREA LACK MOST OPPORTUNITIES. ADDITIONALLY, THE CHURCH PROVIDES A WEEKLY MEAL AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE LOCAL DEAF COMMUNITY.
