PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION OF CEDAR CREST GOLF COURSE
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: PROVIDED SHORT AND LONG TERM INTERNSHIPS FOR APPROXIMATELY 25 HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO WORK IN THE GOLF INDUSTRY WHILE GAINING REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES FOR FUTURE CAREER SUCCESSES.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: AWARDED A TOTAL OF $66,250 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO 23 STUDENTS PLUS A $20,000 GRANT TO THE NTPGA FOUNDATION TO FUND SCHLOARSHIPS TO 4 OTHER INDIVIDUALS. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS WILL ENABLE THESE STUDENTS TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION WHILE PURSUING A CAREER IN THE GOLF INDUSTRY.
JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM: PROVIDING GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION AND MENTORING TO SOUTH DALLAS YOUTH IN THE SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE GOLF INDUSTRY AS A CAREER.
