CIRCLES JOHNSON COUNTY HOSTED 50 WEEKLY MEETINGS, INCLUDING:12 MATCHED CIRCLES MEETINGS-EVENINGS DEDICATED TO CIRCLE LEADERS AND ALLIES WORKING TOGETHER TOWARD SMART GOAL PROGRESS FOR LEADERS.1 POVERTY SIMULATION HELD AT FRANKLIN COLLEGE FOR STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. CIRCLES JOHNSON COUNTY MEMBERS VOLUNTEERED TO HELP THE ATTENDEES AT THE POVERTY SIMULATION BETTER UNDERSTAND THE DAY-TO-DAY ISSUES AFFECTING UNDER-RESOURCES HOUSEHOLDS.10 GUEST SPEAKERS WHO SHARED INFORMATION ON TOPICS THAT RANGED FROM STORYTELLING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THESE PARTNERS HELP THE GROUP EXPAND THEIR SKILLS, BUILD CONFIDENCE, AND GROW THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES.1 VOTERS FORUM IN PREPARATION FOR THE 2022 MIDTERM ELECTION. CIRCLES JOHNSON COUNTY AND OUR BIG VIEW TEAM OPENED OUR DOORS TO CANDIDATES FROM EVERY POLITICAL PARTY AND THE VOTERS THEY HOPED TO REPRESENT TO FOSTER A RESPECTFUL CONVERSATION ON A RANGE OF TOPICS.4 FAMILY FUN NIGHTS DEDICATED TO BUILDING COMMUNITY AND ENJOYING THE COMPANY OF NEW AND OLD FRIENDS. THE GROUP PLANTED FLOWERS, SHARED HOMEMADE MEALS, AND ENJOYED A CONCERT UNDER THE STARS TOGETHER IN 2022.IN 2022, CIRCLES JOHNSON COUNTY FOOD SERVICE VOLUNTEERS, WITH THE SUPPORT OF SECOND HELPINGS, PREPARED AND SERVED OVER 600 DINNERS TO THE GROUP MEMBERS.336 HOURS WERE SPENT BY CIRCLE LEADERS AT MEETINGS WORKING TOWARD SHORT AND LONG TERM GOALS.THOSE GOALS WERE SUPPORTED BY ALLIES WHO GAVE 426 HOURS AT MEETINGS TO CIRCLES JOHNSON COUNTY IN 2022.
