THE ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP COHORT (ELC) WILL BE COMPRISED OF LEADERS FROM THE GREATER DC METRO AREA, REPRESENTING A WIDE VARIETY OF ENVIRON MENTAL INTERESTS AND A DIVERSE RANGE OF PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL BACK GROUNDS. THIS COHORT WILL ACTIVELY SERVE A 12-MONTH COMMITMENT FOCUSING ON STEWARDSHIP INITIATIVES, COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, AND LEADER SHIP DEVELOPMENT
THE SOUL TRAK FAMILY ADVENTURE COHORT SELECTS 6 -7 FAMILIES FROM WASHINTON DCS WARDS 7 AND 8. THESE FAMILIES WILL BE PRESENTED WITH A VARIETY OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES.
THE SOUL TRAK STUDENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM IS A YEAR-LONG ENVIRONMENTAL COHORT FOR STUDENTS AT HOWARD UNIVERSITY. AMBASSADORS WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN COMMUNITY ORGANIZING, EVENT MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING ALL WHILE ENGAGING AND ACTIVATING THEIR PEERS IN OUTDOOR PROGRAMMING,
