DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 3/31/23 WE WORKED TO FULFILL OUR MISSION OF HOSPITALITY, CARING, AND COMPASSIONATE SERVICE TO VULNERABLE PEOPLE. - WE OPERATED THE DEO GRATIAS CAFE 5 DAYS A WEEK FOR 4 HOURS EACH DAY. - THE DEO GRATIAS FOOD PANTRY SERVED AN AVERAGE OF 45 FAMILIES PER WEEK, GIVING THEM A WEEK'S WORTH OF GROCERIES, INCLUDING FRESH PRODUCE, MEAT, DAIRY, BAKED GOODS, AND DRY GOODS. WE ALSO PROVIDED HOUSEHOLD ITEMS SUCH AS BEDDING, TOWELS, SMALL KITCHEN APPLIANCES, KITCHEN UTENSILS, AND PET FOOD. - WE GREW VEGETABLES IN OUR COMMUNITY GARDEN THAT WERE DISTRIBUTED IN THE FOOD PANTRY. - WE PROVIDED TUTORING IN READING AND MATH TO ELEMENTARY CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
