Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

ONE OF THE KEY DEPARTMENTS IN THE MISSION AND OBJECTIVE OF CWTPUSA IS SUPPORTING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE CHURCH PLANTING PROGRAM IN THE SLUMS. IN 2022 ONE OF THE MAJOR STEPS IN THE COMMUNITY WORK WAS IN PROVIDING AN ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM PROGRAM (LIKE THE GED PROGRAM IN US) THAT SOUGHT TO GIVE EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH IN DEPRESSED AREAS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED THEIR HIGH SCHOOL LEVELS. ANOTHER STEP THAT CAME WITH THIS WAS IN PROVIDING COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP FOR DESERVING STUDENTS FROM THE COMMUNITIES WHO WANTED TO FINISH THEIR COLLEGE DEGREES. IN 2022, WE QUALIFIED 13 NEW SCHOLARS.

CWTP USA SUPPORTS THE INTEGRATION OF FEEDING PROGRAMS IN THE PHILIPPINES AS ONE OF ITS KEY ACTIVITIES. THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE FEEDING PROGRAM IS NOT ONLY TO MEET THE NUTRITIONAL NEEDS OF THE MALNOURISHED CHILDREN IN SLUM AREAS BUT TO ALSO ESTABLISH RELATIONSHIPS AMONG THE PARENTS OR CAREGIVERS TO IMPACT THE WHOLE COMMUNITY.

CENTRAL TO THE COMMITMENT TO CHURCH PLANTING WORK AND MOBILIZATION PURPOSES WITHIN POOR COMMUNITIES IN THE PHILIPPINES IS THE BUILDING OF MULTI-PURPOSE CHURCH BUILDING STRUCTURES INSIDE THOSE COMMUNITIES. CWTPUSA SUPPORTS THIS KEY STRATEGIC STEP TOWARD FULFILLING ITS MISSION. THE STRUCTURES ARE BUILT ON 60 TO 80 SQUARE METERS LOTS. THE PURPOSE OF THE STRUCTURES IS FOR FOOD RELIEF DISTRIBUTION, MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS, WORSHIP GATHERINGS, BIBLE-STUDIES, AND EVANGELISTIC, DISCIPLESHIP AND TRAINING WORKSHOPS. IN 2022, CWTP USA SUPPORTED THE REBUILDING OF TWO STRUCTURES DESTROYED BY A SUPER TYPHOON, AND THE COMPLETION OF SIX NEW STRUCTURES WITH WORKING CHURCH PARTNERS.
