PICKENS MUSEUM IS CHARTERED AS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION WHOSE COLLECTION OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART REFLECTS THE VITALITY COMPLEXITY AND UNFOLDING PATTERNS OF ART AND PRESENTS EXHIBITIONS TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCES. IN PURSUIT OF THIS GOAL THE MUSEUM HAS COLLECTED OVER 1,000 WORKS OF PAINTING SCULPTURE DRAWING PHOTOGRAPHY AND NATIVE AMERICAN JEWELRY.
