ENGAGING IN, ADVANCING, PROMOTING, SUPPORTING AND ADMINISTERING ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS RELATED TO HOSTING THE NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND IN INDIANAPOLIS IN 2024.

Part 3 - Line 4a

MANAGING, PROMOTING AND PREPARING INDIANAPOLIS AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR AN ENTERTAINING, SAFE AND COMPREHENSIVE CELEBRATION OF THE NBA ALL-STAR 2024. IN CONNECTION WITH HOSTING THE GAME, THE ORGANIZATION EXPECTS TO ORGANIZE AND LEAD MARQUEE ALL-STAR EVENTS IN COORDINATION WITH THE NBA INCLUDING NBA RISING STARS CHALLENGE, NBA ALL-STAR SATURDAY NIGHT, HBCU CLASSIC, NBA ALL-STAR CELEBRITY GAME, NBA CROSSOVER AND THE NBA ALL-STAR GAME. THE ORGANIZATION IS INVOLVED WITH PLANS FOR LOCALLY FOCUSED EVENTS RELATED TO NBA ALL-STAR 2024 WHICH INCLUDE THE TIP-OFF, MEAL PACKING VOLUNTEER EVENT, THE CULTURAL CORRIDOR, LIGHTING DISPLAYS AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES. THESE EVENTS WILL PROVIDE BENEFIT TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.


CREATED MEANINGFUL LEGACY INITIATIVE FOCUSED ON YOUTH-SERVING NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS INDIANA. THE INITIATIVE FUNDS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS. EACH OF THE GRANTEE ORGANIZATIONS NOMINATED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO RECEIVE A SCHOLARSHIP.
