VOS CONTINUED TO OPERATE THE TWO ORIGINAL FOOD DISTRIBUTION SITES AND APPLIED AND WAS APPROVED FOR A THIRD. MEALS CONTINUED TO BE PROVIDED FROM THE TWO ORIGINAL SITES FOR THE MORE THAN 1000 CHILDREN (WHO WERE APPROVED AND AUTHORIZED BY THE MN DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION) AND THEIR FAMILIES. BEFORE THE THIRD SITE WAS OPERATIONAL, THE VOS AUTHORIZER FOR THE PROGRAM WAS DE-CERTIFIED. AFTER DILIGENT AND TIME CONSUMING SEARCH FOR A SUBSTITUTE AUTHORIZER, VOS DID NOT SET UP THE THIRD SITE AND DISCONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE FOOD PROGRAM FOR THE ORIGINAL TWO SITES AS WELL.
