OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER YOUTH USING OUTDOOR ADVENTURE LEARNING TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR PERSONAL POTENTIAL. THROUGH OUTINGS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND ON THE SEA, PARTICIPANTS WILL DEVELOP A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR PERSONAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING, EXPAND THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE NATURAL WORLD, AND GAIN PRACTICAL LIFE SKILLS.

PROVIDE UNDERSERVED YOUTH WITH TWO MENTORS TO CREATE A SAFE SPACE FOR THEM TO SHARE WITH THEIR PEERS, TRY NEW AND CHALLENGING ACTIVITIES IN THE OUTDOORS, LEARN ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS, AND BE ACTIVE. 80 STUDENTS WERE SERVED THIS YEAR BY TWO FULL TIME MENTORS.
WORK WITH PARTNERS IN THE COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE YOUTH WITH OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES. PARTNERS PROVIDE DISCOUNTS ON THE COSTS FOR THE ACTIVITIES. MTNS2SEA PROVIDES EQUIPMENT, SNACKS AND WATER. 80 YOUTH PARTICIPATED IN 12 OUTINGS EACH.
TRANSPORT STUDENTS FROM SCHOOL TO EACH OUTING. TWO VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED DUE TO EDUCATION CODE LIMITING # OF STUDENTS IN EACH VEHICLE. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL COMPONENT OF THE PROGRAM. THIS COST INCLUDES THE PURCHASE OF 2 NEW VEHICLES. 80 STUDENTS WERE SERVED THIS FY.
