THE MISSION OF PTIO IS TO ENGAGE INTERESTED COMMUNITIES, POLICYMAKERS, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THOUGHTFUL DISCUSSION ON THE BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES POSED BY AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES, SPECIFIC TO THE WORKFORCE.

PTIO HELD A A VIRTUAL EVENT WITH IN CONJUNCTION WITH A LEADING AUTOMOTIVE TRADE ASSOCIATION TO EDUCATE INTERESTED STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES AND THE WORKFORCE. THE EVENT WAS ATTENDED BY CONGRESSIONAL STAFF, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT STAFF, AND OTHER NON-GOVERNMENTAL STAKEHOLDERS SUCH AS REPRESENTATIVES FROM OTHER TRADE ASSOCIATIONS AND COMPANIES. THE EVENT FEATURED A PANEL DISCUSSION, WHICH WAS MODERATED BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PTIO AND A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE AUTOMOTIVE TRADE ASSOCIATION.
