Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
CREATOR'S HOUSE IS EDUCATION FOR THE 21ST CENTURY. WE ARE TURNING LEARNING UPSIDE DOWN. WE ARE RECREATING THE ONE-ROOM SCHOOLHOUSE WHERE CHILDREN ARE IN CHARGE OF AND RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR LEARNING. WE WANT TO WALK ALONGSIDE OUR STUDENTS AND GUIDE THEM IN DEVELOPING A DEEPER, INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND OUT OF THAT RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR CREATOR, TO DISCOVER AND DISCERN WHAT THEIR GOD-GIVEN GIFTS AND CALLING IS FOR THEIR LIFE. WE FURTHER OUR PURPOSES UNDER THIS PROGRAM BY CONDUCTING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: SCHOOL (PRE K - 12) - CREATOR'S HOUSE IN THE FALL OF 2018 WILL BEGIN WITH A PRESCHOOL STUDIO, ENROLLING UP TO 20 STUDENTS TO JOIN ITS INITIAL COHORT. IN OUR PRESCHOOL STUDIO, WE USE TOOLS OF THE MIND CURRICULUM THAT DEVELOPS SELF- REGULATION, EMOTIONAL SKILLS, AND SOCIAL SKILLS IN THE CONTEXT OF PLAY TO EXPERIENCE THE FREEDOM AND JOY OF LEARNING IN THEIR GROWTH. IN 2019, AS THE PRESCHOOL COHORT MOVES ON, A KINDERGARTEN STUDIO WILL BE ESTABLISHED. THE PRESCHOOL STUDIO WILL ACCEPT NEW INCOMING APPLICANTS AND FAMILIES. COMMUNITY SEMINARS - CREATOR'S HOUSE PERIODICALLY HOST COMMUNITY SEMINARS THAT ARE OPEN TO THE BROADER COMMUNITY AS A WAY TO EMPOWER AND EQUIP PARENTS TO EMBRACING THEIR ROLE AS TEACHERS TO THEIR CHILDREN. WE FIND OFTEN TIMES BECAUSE PARENTS MAY NOT HAVE HAD FORMAL TEACHING EDUCATION, THEY AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFY THEMSELVES TO BE INVOLVED IN THEIR CHILDREN'S LEARNING AND GROWTH. WE USE THESE SEMINARS AS A WAY TO ENCOURAGE, AS WELL AS EQUIP THEM WITH TOOLS AND MATERIALS THAT THEY CAN USE AT HOME AS OF 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR, WE HAVE 12 STUDENTS IN OUR SPARK STUDIO (SERVING AGES 5-7)AND 15 STUDENTS IN OUR EXPLORER STUDIO (SERVING AGES 7- 12).
