HOPE DISASTER RECOVERY SHARES CY-HOPE'S PURPOSE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO MAKING LIFE BETTER FOR THE CHILDREN OF CY-FAIR. FOCUSHELPING THOSE WHO ARE MOST VULNERABLE AND UNDER-RESOURCED. SCOPE- DISASTER CASE MANAGEMENT- REPAIR AND REBUILD- EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL CARE- CONGREGATIONAL DISASTER PREPAREDNESS

HOME REPAIR PROGRAM: HDR SPENT $1,043,600 ON REPAIRING 256 HOMES TO SERVE 768 PEOPLE. FAMILY ASSISTANCE:HDR PROVIDES RENTAL AND MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE, UTILITIES, CLOTHING, FOOD, AND PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION ASSISTANCE. HDR PROVIDED RENT PAYMENTS FOR 1,600 FAMILIES, STAVING OFF EVICTION FOR SOME.HDR DISTRIBUTED OVER $400,000 WORTH OF ITEMS SUCH AS: HOMELESS HYGIENE PACKS, FACEMASKS, FOOD, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, COVID TESTS, HAND SANITIZERS, AND SANITIZING WIPESHDR'S COVID-19 VACCINES FOR ALL PROGRAM FOCUSED ON THOSE INDIVIDUALS WHO DO NOT NORMALLY HAVE EASY ACCESS TO VACCINES. HDR HELD OVER 135 EVENTS IN 4 COUNTIES.HDR DISTRIBUTED ALMOST $300,000 WORTH OF HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES AND GOODS FOR RELIEF IN 8 COUNTIES.HDR DISTRIBUTED OVER 21 LARGE TRUCKS OF FOOD/SUPPLIES FOR HURRICANE IDA RELIEF IN LOUISIANA WHERE OVER 50 CONGREGATIONS IN EAST TEXAS PARTICIPATED.TRAINING PROGRAM: HDR TRAINED OVER 1,900 PARTICIPANTS FOR OVER 3,400 HOURS ON DISASTER RESPONSE AND RECOVERY BEST PRACTICES.TOTAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE SERVED IN 2021 = 7,741
