CULTIVATES IMPASSIONED DIALOGUE NOT ONLY THROUGH THE SINGULAR ARTISTIC WORK THE COMPANY PRODUCES, BUT ALSO THROUGH INVENTIVE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDES WORKSHOPS, SCHOOL PERFORMANCES, COMMUNITY DISCUSSIONS, AND ONGOING DIALOGUES. IN 2023, A.I.M TOURED A MIXED REPERTORY PROGRAM FEATURING NEW WORKS BY ARTISTIC DIRECTOR KYLE ABRAHAM ALONGSIDE COMMISSIONED CHOREOGRAPHERS. A.I.M PRESENTED 27 TOTAL EVENINGS OF PERFORMANCE ACROSS 12 STATES AND 4 COUNTRIES, WITH 34,734 AUDIENCE MEMBERS EXPERIENCING THE WORK. PROGRAMMING INCLUDED WORKS BY FORMER A.I.M DANCER MALEEK WASHINGTON, UPROOT: LOVE AND LEGACY; RAIN BY RENOWNED CHOREOGRAPHER BEBE MILLER IN ADDITION TO TWO NEW WORKS CREATED BY ABRAHAM, MOTORROVER AND 5 MINUTE DANCE (YOU DRIVIN?). AS THE COMPANY CONTINUED TO TOUR AND FOSTER CREATIVITY ACROSS THE GLOBE, A.I.M CONDUCTED EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS, MASTER CLASSES, AND LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS TO DEEPEN AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT. THIS ENABLES A.I.M TO CONSISTENTLY CHALLENGE THE CONVENTIONAL NOTIONS OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE, REDEFINING ITS BOUNDARIES AND ITS AUDIENCE. A.I.MS FREE EDUCATIONAL INTENSIVES, HELD BIANNUALLY IN NEW YORK CITY AND LOS ANGELES, ARE DESIGNED TO FOSTER A DIVERSE, INCLUSIVE PIPELINE OF PROFESSIONAL DANCE ARTISTS, READY TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF DANCE.ARTISTICALLY, THE COMPANY HIRED TWO NEW FULL TIME DANCERS, ENDING THE YEAR WITH A TOTAL OF 11 FULL-TIME DANCERS AND 2 PART-TIME DANCERS. ADMINISTRATIVELY, THE COMPANY HIRED NEW STAFF MEMBERS IN 2023, INCLUDING A FULL-TIME MARKETING MANAGER AND A FULL-TIME DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE.
