THE PURPOSE OF BLACK CIVIC NETWORK (BCN) IS TO BUILD A BLACK COMMUNITY VOTER BASE AND REPRESENT THE BLACK COMMUNITIES POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC INTEREST. BCN TAKES THE POSITION THAT OUR COMMUNITY HAS THE POWER TO EVALUATE AND SOLVE ITS OWN PROBLEMS. WE ARE DEVELOPING BLACK ISSUE BASED VOTER BLOCKS, BCN PROVIDES MENTORSHIP & TRAINING TO ASPIRING ACTIVISTS AND CANDIDATES LOOKING TO BE OUR FUTURE POLITICAL & COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP.

DIRECT ENGAGEMENT: VOTER, POLICY AND POLITICAL EDUCATION EFFORTS DIRECTLY WITH THE COMMUNITY ON ISSUES IMPACTING ADOS/BLACK FAMILIES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.


POLICY ENGAGEMENT: COMMUNITY ADVOCACY AT VARIOUS LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT BY BCN STAFF OR BCN TRAINED COMMUNITY ADVOCATE. THIS INCLUDES FEDERAL, STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES.
