THE ORGANIZATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING IRC SECTION 501(C)(3). THE ORGAINIZATION CONDUCTS PUBLIC EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND LITIGATION IN SUPPORT OF ITS MISSION TO PROMOTE THE IDEA OF EQUAL POLITICAL RIGHTS TO CITIZENS.

THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO RUN AN EDUCATION PROJECT NAMED "DELIBERATIONS.US" THAT INVITES THE PUBLIC TO DELIBERATE THE PROS AND CONS OF THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE SYSTEM AND REFORM OPTIONS. PARTICIPANTS WILL MEET IN SMALL GROUPS ON AN ONLINE PLATFORM, LEARN ABOUT THE FACTS OF THE ISSUES, AND SHARE THEIR OPINIONS IN GROUP CONVERSATIONS. THE PROGRAM EXPENSES INCLUDE COMPENSATIONS TO PROJECT ORGANIZERS, CONSULTANT FOR CONTENT CREATION AND TECHNOLOGY, AND WEBSITE HOSTING FEES.


THE ORGANIZATION HAS AN ONGOING DIGITAL CAMPAIGN THAT AIMS TO EDUCATE AND INFORM THE PUBLIC ON DEMOCRACY REFORM ISSUES. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO LITIGATE CASES THAT SEEK TO FUNDAMENTALLY REFORM OUR ELECTION SYSTEM: FOUR CASES CHALLENGING WINNER-TAKE-ALL IN THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE KNOWN COLLECTIVELY AS THE EQUAL VOTES PROJECT; ONE CASE IN ALASKA RELATED TO MONEY-IN-POLITICS. THESE FIVE CASES ARE ACTIVE AND AT VARIOUS STAGES OF THE COURT PROCESS. THE PROGRAM EXPENSES INCLUDE COMPENSATIONS TO LEGAL COUNSELS AND EXPERT WITNESSES, COURT FEES, AND TRAVEL EXPENSES.
