WE PROVIDED IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES TO 1,688 LOW-INCOME IMMIGRANTS, INCLUDING 1,292 HUMANITARIAN PAROLES FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS. OUR CLIENTS REPRESENTED OVER 511 FAMILIES. WE PROVIDED DIRECT LEGAL ASSISTANCE IN A TOTAL OF 66 CASES IN REMOVAL PROCEEDINGS AND USCIS APPLICATIONS. WE PROVIDED LEGAL ADVICE OR COUNSEL IN 340 CASES, AND 541 SCREENING APPOINTMENTS. THE PROJECT ESPERANZA FUNDED BY THE HISPANIC FEDERATION OF $60,000 FOR 2022-23 COVERED 517 SCREENING APPOINTMENTS AT THE INN OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA AND 310 LEGAL ADVICE OR COUNSEL AT THE INN OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA. NOTE: WE OPERATED FOR 2022 WITH FOUR GRANTS CORE GRANT FROM THE SOUTHERN ARIZONA COALITION $20,000, HISPANIC FEDERATION $60,000 (ENDS IN 9/28/23), $10,000 ILJ NATIONAL, $10,000 UMW, AND THE REST OF THE WORK AND SALARIES PAID WERE FROM DONATIONS AND FUNDRAISING.
