GRANTMAKING PROGRAM. WDN ACTION EXPANDED ITS GRANTMAKING PROGRAM IN 2022 AND CONTINUED TO INVEST IN ADVOCACY AND ELECTORAL STRATEGIES THAT SUPPORT THE LEADERSHIP, VISION, AND LONG-TERM ORGANIZING OF WOMEN, PEOPLE OF COLOR, YOUNG PEOPLE, AND HISTORICALLY MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES. WDN ACTION MADE $8,657,000 IN GRANTS TO 68 ORGANIZATIONS DURING 2022. WITH PRIMARY-PURPOSE AND GENERAL SUPPORT FUNDING, THE ORGANIZATION EMPHASIZED BUILDING LONG-TERM MOVEMENT INFRASTRUCTURE IN KEY STATES, AS WELL AS INVESTING IN THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING OF ITS GRANTEE PARTNERS. THE ORGANIZATION'S GRANTS INCLUDED SUPPORT FOR ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE WORKING TO ADVANCE GENDER JUSTICE, RACIAL JUSTICE, CLIMATE JUSTICE, AND VOTING RIGHTS. ADVOCACY & EDUCATIONAL ACTIVIES. THE ORGANIZATION AGAIN OFFERED A VIRTUAL LOBBYING AND ADVOCACY PROGRAM IN 2022, INCLUDING SEVERAL TRAININGS AND ONLINE LOBBYING SESSIONS WITH LEGISLATORS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OFFERED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS RELATED TO ITS GRANTMAKING AND ADVOCACY STRATEGY DURING 2022, INCLUDING A SERIES OF "DEEP DIVE" SESSIONS ON ORGANIZING EFFORTS TO BUILD COMMUNITY POWER IN KEY STATES. FINALLY, AS PART OF ITS EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH TO ENGAGE WOMEN DONORS IN ITS ADVOCACY STRATEGY, THE ORGANIZATION HELD SESSIONS DURING THE WOMEN DONORS NETWORK'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN SANTA ANA PUEBLO, NEW MEXICO, IN NOVEMBER 2022.
