SURVIVORS WORK THROUGH SUPPRESSED EMOTIONS AND DIFFICULT BODILY SENSATIONS WITH DANCE/MOVEMENT THERAPY, RELEASING TRAUMATIC SHOCK STORED IN THE PHYSICAL BODY, AND TRANSFORMING THEIR ABILITY TO COPE WITH POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD) AND THE AFTER-EFFECTS OF TRAUMA.
