FOR THE LAST DECADE, OPERATION MEATBALL (OM) HAS RECOGNIZED AND HONORED OUR VETERANS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, COMMUNITY USO STYLE SHOWS, VETERANS REUNIONS, ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION, HOME VISITS, COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS LIKE HONOR FLIGHT, MAIL CALL, AND OVERSEAS BATTLEFIELD PROGRAMS INCLUDING IWO JIMA, GUAM, NORMANDY, BELGIUM, AND THE NETHERLANDS. CENTRAL TO OUR MISSION STATEMENT HAS BEEN DEMONSTRATING THE CONTINUED RELEVANCE OF OUR VETERANS TO OUR COMMUNITIES AND OUR COUNTRY. OCTOBER 2022, BRIDGE TO HISTORY LAUNCHED ITS PILOT PROGRAM, TAKING 7 CHILDREN (AGES 9-12) TO LONDON AND NORMANDY ON A 9-DAY WHIRLWIND TRIP. NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2022: THE B2H AMBASSADORS WROTE ESSAYS AND SPOKE WITH SCHOOLS AND NEWS STATIONS ABOUT THEIR TRIP AND PARTICIPATED IN LOCAL VETERANS DAY ACTIVITIES. 2023: STATESIDE ACTIVITIES FOR B2H AMBASSADORS CONTINUED WITH ALL AMERICAN WEEK AT FORT BRAGG AS GUESTS OF VETERANS OF 2/504 82ND AIRBORNE AND WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA AT ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY IN D.C. WITH THE 508TH PIR ASSOC. AND THE D.C. AIRBORNE CHAPTER. OCTOBER: BROUGHT OUR 2ND INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM TAKING 6 CHILDREN TO LONDON AND NORMANDY ON THE DDAY EXPERIENCE. CONTINUED OUTREACH WITH THE B2H AMBASSADORS TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND VETERANS GROUPS. -
