TURNBULL'S DESIRED PURPOSE TO (1) PROVIDE BOTH EDUCATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE IN THE AREA OF DESIGN BY PROMOTING MS. TURNBULL'S TEACHINGS AND USING THE ORGANIZATION'S PHYSICAL ASSETS KNOWN AS "THE COLLECTIONS" FOR DESIGN EDUCATION, AND (2) FURTHER THE EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT OF DISADVANTAGED WOMEN.
