HOPE EXCEL/FREEDOM SCHOOL - MERGED WITH EXCEL CDC IN 2019 AND PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL INSTRUCTION TO YOUTH FROM UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES FROM PRE-KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 2ND GRADE. WE ARE COMMITTED THROUGH EXCELLENCE TO MAKE GREATNESS HAPPEN FOR EVERYONE WE COME IN CONTACT WITH REGARDLESS OF RACE OR FINANCIAL BACKGROUND. WE OFFER STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO GROW SPIRITUALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND SOCIALLY.
COMMUNITY HEALING RESOURCE CENTER NETWORK USES A COMMUNITY-BASED TRAUMA INFORMED, CULTURALLY COMPETENT APPROACH TO REDUCE VIOLENCE, PROMOTE HEALING, AND BUILD RESILIENCE. BY USING EXISTING CHRCS TO EXERCISE THE BEST FEATURES OF COMMUNITY SAFETY, COMMUNITY HEALTH, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZING. THIS DELIVERS QUALITY SERVICES AND RESOURCES TO SURVIVORS (ESPECIALLY GUN VIOLENCE SURVIVORS) OF TRAUMA WITH COMPASSION, RESPECT, AND CARE.
