CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: THE DEANE FOUNDATION PARTNERED WITH BRITEHEART TO PRODUCE 21 EVENTS FOCUSED ON VOTER REGISTRATION AND VOTER TURNOUT. THE EVENTS ENGAGED 4,755 PARTICIPANTS.


SOCIAL JUSTICE: THE DEANE FOUNDATION WORKED WITH FAITH-LED AND ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS TO HELP HEAL LASTING RACIAL WOUNDS. EVENTS INCLUDED A SILENT MARCH ENTITLED "WALK IN LOVE", A PILGRIMAGE TO EJI IN MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA, AND PARTNERING WITH ONE VOICE NASHVILLE VIA THE 2018 BIG PAYBACK.


HEALTH AND WELLNESS: THE DEANE FOUNDATION CREATED A WHITEBOARD VIDEO AS A TOOL TO INFORM THE PUBLIC ABOUT WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO CLOSE THE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE GAP IN TENNESSEE. MORE THAN 1,500 VIEWERS WATCHED THE VIDEO.


RURAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: THE DEANE FOUNDATION SPENT SIGNIFICANT TIME RESEARCHING THE CURRENT STATE OF TENNESSEE RURAL COMMUNITIES.
