(THE ORGANIZATION") HELPS RAISE FUNDS AND COLLABORATES WITH INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO: PRESERVE AND PUBLICLY DISPLAY VETERAN MEMORIALS, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING MILITARY VETERAN HISTORY, SUPPORT A SAFE AND ATTRACTIVE HUB FOR PUBLIC GATHERINGS AND TO PERFORM ENHANCEMENTS IN VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK.

THE AGENCY HAS BEGUN TO REVITALIZE A PUBLIC PARK WHICH HAD BECOME AN EYESORE AND HAD CREATED A DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT IN THE DOWNTOWN STAMFORD AREA. WHEN COMPLETED, THE PARK WILL BE A LASTING MEMORIAL TO THE MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN OF THE UNITED STATES, AND A PLACE WHERE THE PUBLIC CAN GATHER IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
