OUR SPECALIZED CURRICULUM ENGAGES YOUNG PEOPLES' CREATIVITY TO SUPERCHARGE THEIR STRENGTHS AS LEARNERS AND GET THEM ON THE FAST-TRACK TO VALUABLE TECHNOLOGY SKILLS - REGARDLESS OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING.

URBAN ASSEMBLY MAKER ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL: STACKS AND JOULES RAN A COMPUTER PROGRAMMING AND WIRELESS NETWORK MANAGEMENT WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM AT UA MAKER ACADEMY. THERE WERE TWO COHORTS, ONE WITH 24 STUDENTS AND THE OTHER WITH 28 STUDENTS. BOTH COHORTS MET FOR THREE HOURS WEEKLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WITH ADDITIONAL MEETINGS FOR SPECIALIZED WORK-BASED LEARNING ACTIVITIES. THE STUDENTS HAD 180 HOURS OF TRAINING.
CENTER FOR WELLBEING & HAPPINESS STACKS AND JOULES RAN A COMPUTER PROGRAMMING AND WIRELESS NETWORK MANAGEMENT WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM HOSTED BY AND IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CENTER FOR WELLBEING & HAPPINESS. THERE WAS ONE ALL-WOMEN ADULT COHORT WITH 12 PARTICIPANTS THAT MET FOR 20 HOURS WEEKLY FOR 14 WEEKS. THE ADULT WOMEN HAD 180 HOURS OF IN-PERSON TRAINING.
