TO PROVIDE QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TO ALL CHILDREN AT THE LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT THEY ARE IN. OUR PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE INCLUSIVE CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN THAT ARE OF TYPICAL AND ATYPICAL DEVELOPMENT. WE WANT TO PREPARE CHILDREN FOR KINDERGARTEN. TO MAXIMIZE THESE EFFORTS WE SEEK COLLABORATION WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.

FUTURE LEADERS OF EXCELLENCE ACADEMY (FLOE ACADEMY) BEGAN THE YEAR OF 2023 SERVING 26 FAMILIES THAT HAD 31 CHILDREN BETWEEN THEM. WE HAVE HAD A FEW EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR OUR FAMILIES SINCE JANU-ARY 2023. FLOE ACADEMY RECEIVED THE HIGHEST STATUS (3 STARS) THAT A DAYCARE CAN RECEIVE ON APRIL 1, 2023. ON APRIL 6, 2023 WE HAD OUR FAMILY APPRECIATION DAY AT THE CENTER. THE PARENTS WERE ALLOWED TO COME IN AND HAVE A SNACK WITH THEIR CHILDREN. WE HAD THE SNACK CATERED BY THE CENTER AND IT WAS A MASHED POTATO BAR. WE ALSO HAD AN EASTER EGG HUNT THAT DAY. ON APRIL 15, 2023 FLOE ACADEMY HAD A YARD SALE AND FISH FRY FUNDRAISER. ON MAY 12, 2023 WE HAD MUFFINS WITH MOM IN HONOR OF MOTHER'S DAY. ON JUNE 2, 2023 WE HAD A GRADUATION FOR OUR CHILDREN THAT WERE GOING TO KINDERGARTEN. ON JUNE 16, 2023 WE HAD DONUTS WITH DAD IN HONOR OF FATHER'S DAY. ON JULY 29, 2023 WE HAD A OPEN HOUSE BACK TO SCHOOL BASH AT THE CENTER. WE GAVE AWAY BACKPACKS WITH SUPPLIES, HAD BOUNCE HOUSES, AND FACE PAINT-ING THERE. OCTOBER 7-17, 2023 WE PARTICIPATED IN THE GOODLETTSVILLE, SCARECROW COMPETITION. WE MADE A CAT IN THE HAT SCARECROW AND WON 1ST PLACE. ON OCTOBER 31, 2023 WE HAD A TRUNK OR TREAT FOR THE CHIL-DREN AT THE CENTER. ON NOVEMBER 15, 2023 WE HAD A THANKSGIVING LUNCH FOR THE CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND STAFF OF THE CENTER. BY THE END OF DECEMBER 2023 WE WERE SERVING 32 FAMILIES THAT HAD 38 CHILDREN BE-TWEEN THEM. THE AFTERMATH OF COVID-19 CONTINUED TO PUT SOME STRAIN ON OUR BUSINESS IN THE YEAR 2023. THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE APPLYING FOR JOBS CONTINUED TO BE LOW FOR THE CENTER. WE ARE HOPING TO REBUILD WITH MOMENTUM AS 2024 COMES TO AN END.
