ACEG'S MISSION IS TO EDUCATE STAKEHOLDERS AND THE PUBLIC TO SUPPORT POLICIES AND REGULATIONS FAVORING THE EXPANSION, MODERNIZATION, AND INTEGRATION OF THE HIGH-VOLTAGE ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION GRID TO ACHIEVE A CLEAN ENERGY ECONOMYONE THAT ATTAINS THE SCIENTIFICALLY-VALIDATED GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF REDUCING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS BY 80%.

ACEG SUBMITTED COMMENTS ON DOCKETS INCLUDING ITS ADVANCED NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING ON TRANSMISSION, REVIEWED FERC TECHNICAL MATERIALS, AND PREPARED REPORTS FOR FERC STAFF RELATED TO ITS TRANSMISSION POLICIES.


RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. ACEG LAUNCHED NEW OUTREACH TO ORGANIZATIONS FOCUSED ON RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO EDUCATE THEM ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF TRANSMISSION FOR RURAL AREAS AND TO ADVANCE ACEG'S MISSION TO ENGAGE A BROAD CROSS SECTION OF STAKEHOLDERS.
