IN 2024 THE PTO PURCHASED SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS, INCLUDING START-UP SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR ALL TEACHING STAFF, TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS, CHARGING STATIONS FOR TESTING DAYS, ADDITIONAL NOVELS, AND SUPPLIES FOR ADDITIONAL CLEANING AND HEALTH (DISINFECTANT WIPES, KLEENEX). THE PTO FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE WASHINGTON DC FIELD TRIP, FIELD TRIP MEALS, AND STUDENT CRISIS NEEDS. THE PTO FULLY FUNDED GRADE LEVEL FIELD TRIPS FOR ALL GRADES. THE PTO PURCHASED TECHNOLOGY ITEMS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS, INCLUDING CHROME BOOKS AND ADDITIONAL CHARGERS FOR STUDENT USE. CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED SITE WORK TO ACCOMMODATE NEW BLEACHERS, A SIDEWALK TO THE FIELD, NEW LANDSCAPING, NEW PAINTING AND SPARTAN DECALS. THE PTO PARTNERED WITH A LOCAL THEATER COMPANY TO PUT ON A SCHOOL DRAMA PERFORMANCE. THE PTO SUPPORTED SPIRIT EVENTS WITH SUPPLIES, INCLUDING MATERIALS FOR A FALL FESTIVAL, SPRING BLUE OUT EVENT AND 8TH GRADE DANCE. THE FUNDS ALSO SUPPORTED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR THE STAFF AND ADMINISTRATION AS WELL AS STUDENT AND STAFF APPRECIATION AND EVENTS. FINALLY, FUNDS WERE USED TO SUPPORT ATHLETICS WITH THE PURCHASE OF NEW UNIFORMS AND A SPORTS BANQUET. - CAMPUS AND STAFF SUPPORT: 34,844 - PARENT AND STUDENT SUPPORT: 28,140 - OTHER STAFF SUPPORT: 1,927 TOTAL CASH SUPPORT 64,911
