HILLEL FOR UTAH SEEKS TO INSPIRE STUDENTS TO MAKE A POSITIVE CONNECTION TO ISRAEL AND JEWISH LIFE, LEARNING, AND VALUES TO THIS END, HILLEL FOR UTAH SHALL PROVIDE JEWISH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, CONNECTIONS FOR RELIGIOUS GROWTH, AS WELL AS AN INCLUSIVE CAMPUS COMMUNITY AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS OF ALL OF UTAH'S COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES. IT IS THE INTENT OF THE HILLEL FOR UTAH CORPORATION TO CONDUCT AFFAIRS THAT ARE WHOLLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE 501(C)(3) CODE OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE.

SPRINGBOARD EZRA FELLOWSHIP - THIRD-YEAR EXTENSION: THE EXTENSION OF THE SPRINGBOARD EZRA FELLOWSHIP HAS PROVIDED THE DIRECTOR, A SOLO PROFESSIONAL, WITH A STAFF MEMBER PREPARED TO PROVIDE JEWISH EDUCATION THROUGH REGULAR PROGRAMMING AS WELL AS WORK WITH STUDENT LEADERS AND OTHERS ON ENGAGEMENT. THIS FELLOWSHIP HAS ALLOWED THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO FOCUS ON ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS, FUNDRAISING, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AND STRATEGIC PLANNING.


OTHER PROGRAMS: LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY SERVICES, SHABBAT, SHABBATON, HOLIDAYS, ENGAGEMENT, SOCIAL PROGRAMS, ISRAEL PROGRAMMING, WELLNESS PROGRAMS.


STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: AS WE EMERGED FROM THE QUARANTINING OF THE PANDEMIC, HILLEL FOR UTAH STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND PROGRAMMING TOOK PLACE IN PERSON. STUDENT BOARD MEETINGS DID CONTINUE BIWEEKLY THROUGH ZOOM.


JEWISH EDUCATION: JEWISH EDUCATION CONTINUED ONLINE WITH TORAH AND TACOS PROGRAMMING, REGULAR SHABBAT AND HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS, AND THE GRANT-FUNDED JEWISH LEARNING FELLOWSHIP (JLF).
