THE OKLAHOMA ALLIANCE OF YMCAS REPRESENT THE COLLECTIVE IMPACT OF ALL 12 INDEPENDENT OKLAHOMA YMCAS. THE ALLIANCE FOSTERS STATEWIDE COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION, BY ADVOCATING FOR POLICY AND PROGRAMS TO HELP ADVANCE THE Y'S THREE KEY FOCUS AREAS: YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING, AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

PROVIDING A UNIFIED VOICE OF ADVOCACY FOR THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING, AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROGRAMS AND POLICIES WITHIN OKLAHOMA YMCAS. THE OKLAHOMA ALLIANCE OF YMCAS CONTINUES TO MONITOR HEALTHY LIVING AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT POLICY ACROSS THE NATION, STATE AND IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES FOR BEST PRACTICE POLICIES. THE OKLAHOMA ALLIANCE OF YMCAS IDENTIFIED AND PROMOTED VARIOUS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAMS, SUCH AS OKLAHOMA STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SUMMER YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, BLOOD PRESSURE SELF-MONITORING, DIABETES PREVENTION SERVICES, OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIME FEEDING PROGRAMS, HEALTHY POLICIES WITHIN CHILDCARE FACILITIES AND WALKABLE COMMUNITIES. THE OBJECTION OF THIS WORK IS TO UNIFY EFFORTS BY LOCAL YMCAS TO BUILD STRONGER, HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES.
