THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES PROTECTION TO IDAHO RESIDENT POLICYHOLDERS IN THE EVENT OF THE FAILURE OF THE INSURANCE COMPANY THAT ISSUED THEIR LIFE, ANNUITY, OR HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 43, TITLE 41, IDAHO CODE.

THE ASSOCIATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE PROTECTION TO IDAHO RESIDENT POLICYHOLDERS IN THE EVENT OF THE FAILURE OF THE INSURANCE COMPANY THAT ISSUED THEIR LIFE, ANNUITY OR HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY. THIS IS THE ASSOCIATION'S ONLY PROGRAM SERVICE AND CONSTITUTES 100% OF THE ASSOCIATION'S TIME. IN CALENDAR YEAR 2022, THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDED POLICYHOLDER BENEFITS TO IDAHO RESIDENT INSUREDS OF 8 INSOLVENT INSURERS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDED SUPPORT TO INSURANCE COMPANY RECEIVERS, FORMER INSUREDS, ETC., FOR A NUMBER OF OPEN AND CLOSED INSOLVENCY ESTATES.
