THE GIVERS AND FRIENDS FOUNDATION CONTINUED WITH PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION BETWEEN PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM SOCIAL ANXIETY VIA ZOOM MEETING ONCE A WEEK UP TO JUNE OF 2023. THE FOCUS CONTINUED TO BE ON IMPROVING CONVERSATIONAL SKILLS IN A LOW STRESS AND EXPECTATION VENUE. EARLY THIS YEAR, SELECTED FAMILY ACQUAINTANCES OR FRIENDS WERE INVITED TO JOIN OUR ZOOM MEETINGS. THESE FRIENDS CAME ON ONE WEEK AT A TIME AND WERE PROVIDED SAMPLE SCRIPTS TO USE THAT CONTAINED SIMPLE AND MORE COMPLEX QUESTIONS TO PROVIDE PRACTICE TO PARTICIPANTS FOR PURPOSE OF SPEAKING WITH PEOPLE COMFORTABLE WITH VERBAL COMMUNICATION. IN JUNE OF 2023, WE TRANSITIONED INTO MEETING MONTHLY AT PLACES LIKE PARIS BAGUETTE OR YOGURT SHOPS OR A RESTAURANT FOR IN PERSON SOCIAL INTERACTION SINCE COVID RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEM LIFTED.
