WE PROVIDE GRANTS TO A NOT FOR PROFIT CIVIL ASSOCIATION IN MEXICO CALLED ESCUELA COOPERATIVA DE SAYULITA, WHICH RUNS A SCHOOL FOR 3-5 YEAR OLDS THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR EARLY DEVELOPMENT AND START THEM ON A PATH TO LIFELONG SUCCESS. OUR ORGANIZATION, FRIENDS OF ESCUELA COOPERATIVA DE SAYULITA, RAISES FUNDS IN ILLINOIS, IN ORDER TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE ORGANIZATION IN MEXICO. THIS HAPPENS AT REGULAR BUDGETARY AND CASH FLOW MEETINGS WHERE LEADERSHIP FROM THE SCHOOL SHARES THEIR FINANCIAL DATA WITH LEADERSHIP OF THE 501(C)3 AND MAKES PLANS TO ADDRESS SPECIFIC NEEDS WHICH ARE FLEXIBLE. FRIENDS OF ESCUELA COOPERATIVA DE SAYULITA HAS NO DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY OVER ESCUELA COOPERATIVA DE SAYULITA, AND THE TWO BOARDS OPERATE ENTIRELY INDEPENDENTLY OF ONE ANOTHER. FRIENDS OF ESCUELA COOPERATIVA DE SAYULITA HAS FINAL AND ULTIMATE AUTHORITY OVER HOW MUCH TO GRANT AND WHEN TO GRANT ITS FUNDS AS RAISED.
