OURWRITES.ORG DEVELOPS AND RUNS A WEBSITE THROUGH WHICH INDIVIDUALS MAY CONTACT THEIR LEGISLATORS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO USE TECHNOLOGY TO INCREASE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT. MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL SUBMIT REQUESTS TO THE WEBSITE, AND THE ORGANIZATION WILL THEN REACH OUT TO THE RELEVANT GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO REQUEST INFORMATION OR COMMENT ON THE MOST POPULAR QUESTIONS. OURWRITES.ORG WILL THEN RESEARCH THE TRUTHFULNESS AND ACCURACY OF THE RESPONSE PROVIDED BY THE OFFICIAL, AND ALSO FOLLOW UP TO MAKE SURE THAT THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL IS DOING WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. IN THIS MANNER, THE ORGANIZATION IMPROVES THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF UTAH AND THE NATION AS A WHOLE.
