SUPPORTS COMBAT VETERANS IN OVERCOMING THE CHALLENGES OF POST-MILITARY TRANSITION BY RECONNECTING THOSE WHO SERVED TOGETHER OVERSEAS THROUGH THE EXECUTION OF RECOVERY REUNIONS.

WRF PROVIDED 12 REUNIONS FOR UNITS OF COMBAT VETERANS WHO DEPLOYED OVERSEAS TOGETHER. AT EACH REUNION, MILITARY VETERANS AND GOLD STAR FAMILY MEMBERS ENGAGED IN PROGRAMMING ACROSS OUR ORGANIZATIONS THREE PILLARS: SERVICE, WELLNESS AND CAMARADERIE. EACH GROUP COMPLETED A SERVICE PROJECT IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY; ENGAGED IN WELLNESS BRIEFINGS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PEER SUPPORT DISCUSSIONS, EDUCATIONAL BRIEFINGS AND RESOURCE CONNECTION FACILITATION WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS; AND ENJOYED THE CAMARADERIE THAT CAN ONLY COME FROM REUNITING WITH BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS. OUR 2021 REUNION PROGRAM SERVED OVER 600 COMBAT VETERANS AND GOLD STAR FAMILY MEMBERS.
