TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF COMPANION ANIMALS BY PROVIDING HUMANE, INDIVIDUALIZED CARE AND A CHANCE TO KNOW THE COMFORTS OF A LOVING HOME THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORT OF THOSE IN NEED.

IN 2022 WE WELCOMED 264 DOGS THROUGH OUR RESCUE AND FOSTER PROGRAMS, PRIMARILY FROM OVERCROWDED SHELTERS, PROVIDING ALL THE SUPPLIES VOLUNTEER FOSTERS NEEDED TO CARE FOR THE DOGS, WHO RECEIVED ALL NECESSARY MEDICAL CARE AND BEHAVIOR SUPPORT DURING THAT TIME. 255 OF THOSE DOGS ALSO GRADUATED FROM OUR FOSTER PROGRAM TO OUR PUBLIC ADOPTION PROGRAM, WHICH SUPPORTS ADOPTERS WITH ONGOING RESOURCES AND COMMUNITY GUIDANCE THROUGH ONLINE FORUMS AND IN PERSON EVENTS. ONE DOG FROM 2022 IS BACK WITH US IN FOSTER IN 2023. WE LOST 1 DOG IN 2022 TO BEHAVIOR EUTHANASIA AND 2 MORE DOGS TO MEDICAL ISSUES. WE ARE GRATEFUL TO OUR FOSTERS WHO GAVE THOSE DOGS A CHANCE DESPITE THE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT ULTIMATELY PREVENTED THEIR ADOPTION.
