THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGES IN ADVOCACY IN SUPPORT OF NUCLEAR POWER AND THE POWER GENERATION INDUSTRY IN GENERAL, AS WELL AS POLICIES THAT FURTHER THE POWER GENERATION INDUSTRY.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS ENGAGED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS TO PROVIDE ADVOCACY SERVICES TO THE ORGANIZATION WITH RESPECT TO NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION AND BASE LOAD GENERATION INDUSTRIES. SUCH ADVOCACY EFFORTS FOCUS ON NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS IN OHIO AND INCLUDE GRASSROOTS EFFORTS TO INCREASE SUPPORT FOR THE OPERATION AND VIABILITY OF SUCH NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS IN THE POWER GENERATION INDUSTRY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO WORKS TO BUILD COALITIONS SUPPORTIVE OF NUCLEAR POWER AND THE POWER GENERATION INDUSTRY THROUGH STRATEGIC OUTREACH AND COLLABORATION WITH INTERESTED STAKEHOLDERS. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN IN SUPPORT OF SUCH GOALS INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ENGAGING COALITION MEMBERS TO CONTACT ELECTED OFFICIALS IN SUPPORT OF SUCH GOALS AND ENGAGING COALITION MEMBERS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC STATEMENTS OF SUPPORT OF SUCH GOALS.
