ASAPBIO CATALYZED THE PRODUCTIVE USE OF PREPRINTS BY 1) CONVENING A WORKSHOP AND FOLLOW-UP WORKING GROUPS TO IDENTIFY TECHNICAL PRACTICES TO BUILD TRUST IN PREPRINTS, 2) DEVELOPING NEW RESOURCES, SUCH AS INFOGRAPHICS, ARTICLES, WEBINARS, AND PROJECTS ON PREPRINT FEEDBACK AND PREPRINTS IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, AND 3) CONTINUING OUR COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, INCLUDING A HIGHLY-STRUCTURED TRAINING PROGRAM TO EMPOWER RESEARCHERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO ADVOCATE FOR PREPRINTS IN THEIR OWN INSTITUTIONS AND FIELDS.ASAPBIO MAINTAINED A REGISTRY OF INNOVATIVE PEER REVIEW PROJECTS.ASAPBIO COLLABORATED WITH EMBO ON REVIEW COMMONS, A JOURNAL-INDEPENDENT REVIEW SERVICE.
