THAT IS WHY MAME JAARA FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORT THE MAME JAARA SCHOOL OF GIRLS IN POROKHANE, SENEGAL. THIS SCHOOL IS UNIQUE IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA FOR BEING THE ONE OF THE FEW INSTITUTIONS TO PROVIDE FULL 4 TO 5 YEAR INTERNSHIP TO 450 DISFRANCHISED GIRLS, AGE 7 TO 15, TO STUDY DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES AT FREE OF COST. AS THE SCOPE AND THE FOUNDATION MISSION EXPANDS IN THE NEAR FUTURE, MAME JAARA FOUNDATION WILL BE DEDICATED TO PROMOTE YOUNG GIRLS EDUCATION IN OTHER PLACES OF SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN COUNTRIES WHERE YOUNG GIRLS ARE GROWING UP IN POVERTY. THE FOUNDATION HAS BEEN ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE YOUNG GIRLS EDUCATION TO ACHIEVE A PERMANENT CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES THAT ENABLES THEM TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT, PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
