THE FOUNDATION FOR ISLAMIC SCHOLARSHIP AND TEACHING IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO SCHOLARS AND STUDENTS OF CLASSICAL ISLAM. AS A PART OF THE MISSION, WE LOCATE RARE OR UNAVAILABLE ARABIC BOOKS OF RELEVANCE TO TEACHING CLASSICAL ISLAM IN AMERICA FROM AROUND THE WORLD. WE THEN FIND A PUBLISHER TO PRINT THESE BOOKS, SHIP THEM TO THE USA, AND DISTRIBUTE THEM AS GRANTS TO USA-BASED SCHOLARS, STUDENTS, AND THE INTERESTED PUBLIC.
THE FOUNDATION FOR ISLAMIC SCHOLARSHIP AND TEACHING IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO SCHOLARS AND STUDENTS OF CLASSICAL ISLAM. AS A PART OF THE MISSION, WE IDENTIFY UNRECOGNIZED, LONG- STANDING VOLUNTEERS IN THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY WHO LACK THE FINANCIAL MEANS TO TAKE A RELIGIOUS PILGRIMAGE AND ORGANIZE A GROUP TRIP WITH THEM AND A SCHOLAR WHO TEACHES THEM BEFORE AND DURING THE TRAVEL. UPON RETURNING, WE PUBLISH THEIR REFLECTIONS IN AUDIOVISUAL AND ESSAY FORM FOR INTERESTED MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.
