EDUCATION AND OUTREACHIMPROVED THE FATTYLIVERFOUNDATION.ORG WEBSITE AND USED SOCIAL MEDIA AS SCIENCE-BASED INFORMATION SOURCES ABOUT THE DISEASE FOR PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN FATTY LIVER DISEASE, ITS PROGRESSION TO NASH AND ULTIMATELY TO CIRRHOSIS; INCLUDING LIFESTYLE CHANGES AND OTHER STRATEGIES TO FIGHT THE DISEASE.


WELLNESS LEAGUEDEVELOPED A WELLNESS PROGRAM FOR TESTING PEOPLE WHO ARE AT RISK FOR SERIOUS LIVER FIBROSIS AND ITS COMPLICATIONS BEFORE THEY DEVELOP SYMPTONS AND WHILE THEY ARE UNDIAGNOSED. PROMOTED WELL PATIENT SCREENING FOR ASYMPTOMATIC DISEASE.


SURVEYLAUNCHED THE ANNUAL STATE OF NAFLD/NASH CARE IN AMERICA INITIATIVE, WHICH AIMS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE VIEWS AND LIVED EXPERIENCES OF LIVER DISEASE PATIENTS AND IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY AND IMPACT OF INTERVENTIONS AND PROGRAMMING THAT MEET PATIENTS' NEEDS AS DETERMINED BY THE PATIENTS THEMSELVES.
