THE LA MESA VILLAGE ASSOCIATION LMVA IS MADE UP OF BUSINESS OWNERS AND RESIDENTS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE LA MESA VILLAGE COMMUNITY. THROUGH THEIR SUPPORT AND DEDICATION THE LMVA IS ABLE TO PROVIDE A VARIETY OF FREE COMMUNITY EVENTS FARMERS MARKET CAR SHOW HOLIDAY IN THE VILALGE TRICK OR TREAT ETC. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WORKING WITH THE CITY OF LA MESA AND THE LA MESA POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS. THE ORGANZATION ALSO ALLOCATE RESOURCES TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A POSITIVE "BRAND" IMAGE TO THE PUBLIC IN ORDER TO DRIVE BUSINESS TO THE DOWNTOWN LA MESA AREA.

SPECIAL EVENT - THE LMVA PROVIDES FREE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR SUCH AS THE FARMERS MARKET WHICH IS HELD 51 WEEKS A YEAR RAIN OR SHINE ON FRIDAY FROM 3PM TO 7PM. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 85 VENDORS COMPRISED OF FARMERS LOCAL VENDORS WHO PROVIDE A VARIETY OF OPTIONS FROM FRESH PRODUCT TO PRE-PACKAGED FOODS TO LOCAL ARTISANS.


SPECIAL EVENT - THE LMVA PROVIDES FREE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR SUCH AS THE CAR SHOW WHICH RUNS FROM THE FIRST THURSDAY IN JUNE THROUGH THE LAST THURSDAY IN AUGUST. THIS EVENT FEATURES PRE-1975 CARS TRUCKS AND VANS AND IS HELD FROM 5PM TO 8PM. WE PROVIDE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT EACH WEEK TO INCLUDE A DJ WHO HELPS WITH THE MUSIC AND MAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS.


SPECIAL EVENT - THE LMVA PROVIDES FREE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR SUCH AS THE HOLIDAY IN THE VILLAGE WHICH IS HELD THE FIRST SATURDAY IN DECEMBER FROM 12PM TO 9PM. IT FEATURES OVER 75 HOLIDAY CRAFTS RETAILS AND CORPORATE BOOTHS ORIENTED TO A FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT. THERE ARE FIRE PITS BOUNCES TRAIN SANTA FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY AS WELL AS LIVE MUSIC BANDS AND CAROLERS.
