THE MISSION OF THE CHARLES COUNTY CHARITABLE TRUST IS TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY BY STRENGTHENING THE LOCAL NONPROFIT SECTOR THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND GRANT ASSISTANCE.

CHARLES COUNTY CHARITABLE TRUST IS INVOLVED IN MANAGING THE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS IN GRANT AWARDS, MONITORING THE GRANTS AWARDED, MAKE SITE VISITS TO GRANTEES, REVIEW MID-YEAR AND FINAL GRANT REPORTS FROM GRANTEE ORGANIZATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR REPRESENTATIVES OF NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN A COMPREHENSIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE. PARTICIPANTS LEARN TO DEVELOP INDIVIDUALIZED FUNDRAISING PROGRAM PLANS THAT INTEGRATE FUNDRAISING, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS TO INCREASE OVERALL FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND ASSURE SUSTAINABILITY.
